Bombona Necklace

$86.00
ColorRed
About:

Although the beads in this classic necklace are round, they are not symmetrical and definitely unconventional. The bombona fruit they are made from is hand-peeled, so sometimes marks are left on the beads, adding interest and authenticity. The necklace length can be adjusted to your needs. If you haven’t found your desired color among the options above, feel free to contact us—we’ll be happy to offer additional colors from our wide inventory. Tagua The Tagua Organic Jewelry studio was founded by Ofri Friedman in 2009. She creates jewelry from tagua, a nut from a palm tree that grows in South America, as well as other fruits and seeds—such as the South American bombona, the kukui from the Philippines, and chira from Peru. Thanks to her work with natural materials, the shapes and textures of Ofri’s diverse jewelry pieces are never uniform. The production process is carried out in collaboration with Beit Ekstein, involving individuals with special needs.
